Escuela big foot was founded in 2005 in the idyllic seaside fishing village of playa gigante on the SW of the pacific coast of Nicaragua. We provide one on one small class (2-3 students) instructions for Spanish language students of all levels.

Our standards offering is one week of Spanish instructions with packages starting at $100. We also offer "a la carte" hourly one -on-one Spanish language instructions. You can also opt for Spanish + Surfing or Spanish +fishing packages trough our partnership with Costa Nica Expeditions.

The tola coast region provides numerous ecotourism and recreational opportunities and recreational opportunities for students after class and on weekend. the school is located a mere 5 minutes walk on Zacatan Ecological Reserve a 30 acre protected are with trails, monkey (both howler and white face capuchin), parrots and other magnificent denizens of the pacific tropical dry forest. In addition to playa Gigante, several others uncrowded beaches are just a short walk or bike ride away: Amarillo, Colorado, and Manzanillo.

Surfing Packages Avalaible

Recreational opportunities (like surfing) abound in and around Gigante Beach.

Excellent surfing conditions can be had along the Tola coast throughout the year, but especially between May and September.
